Every kid needs a BOOST.
BOOST is a model, citywide private public venture designed to make the out of school time hours safe, enriching and educationally inspiring for all children. BOOST after school sites are designed to provide children with connections to caring adults, extend learning time, offer opportunities to engage in activities like art and debate and provide outlets for physical activities that keep children healthy. BOOST builds on the work of Baltimore’s After School Strategy and Baltimore City Public School System and is funded through strong support from the Mayor’s Office and City Council of Baltimore and matching funds from non-profit organizations, foundations, businesses and individual benefactors.
